Field Work Friday
It's #FieldWorkFriday
This week kicked off with some rain! Unfortunately, it was not quite enough to charge the creeks to allow salmon to enter, but it did get us out to take a look. We are hoping for more rain soon to allow the salmon to return to spawn.
We also conducted our water quality monitoring in Myers Creek.
We took Wednesday as a day for honouring and listening to families who have suffered from residential schools and remembering those who did not make it home. 🧡
Thursday, we were back at European green crab monitoring. There are only a few tide cycles that allow for trapping left, and we plan to take advantage of them all. Stay tuned next week to see what we caught in the Pool Road Lagoon.
