Join us in the Tranquility Garden in salalus (Madeira Park) to kick off our 2026 BioBlitz. A celebration of biodiversity, a BioBlitz is a time-constrained count of everything that grows, creeps, crawls, hops, flies, or slithers. Part contest, part festival, part educational event, and part scientific enterprise, these events bring together scientists, naturalists, and community members to identify and document as many species as possible across a wide range of taxonomic groups within a set time period. We will have tables with specimens and microscopes for observations. We will also have staff on site to help you join our project on iNaturalist.
